The field notes

What it is

A sound bath is a lying-down ceremony. You settle onto a mat, and for the better part of an hour a practitioner plays crystal and Tibetan bowls, gong, chimes and voice around you. There is nothing to do and nothing to follow. The instruments do the work, and the nervous system tends to answer with the kind of rest that is hard to reach on your own.

Sound healing is the first vertical of this house and lives on its own domain: soundhealing.mx carries fifty-two verified practitioners across eleven cities, each checked by hand, with direct contact and no booking middleman.

What to expect
  • Sessions run 45 to 90 minutes, lying down, dressed and comfortable
  • Waves of instruments rather than songs: bowls, gong, voice, chimes
  • Group baths and private one-on-one sessions both exist
  • A good session ends in silence, with time to land before you leave
How we verify

Every sound healer in the index carries an independent, checkable source: a personal site, a venue listing or press. The full directory, with cities, instruments and languages, lives on soundhealing.mx.
